Tuexenia is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published annually by the “Floristisch-soziologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft”. It publishes original articles, reviews, and reports on geobotany, vegetation ecology and related sciences such as population biology, biodiversity research, biocenology, restoration ecology, and their applications, particularly in nature conservation. The geographic scope is Central Europe and adjacent regions of Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Europe. Tuexenia is published annually in one volume: articles can be published online-first in advance. Authors (corresponding author) receive a PDF file of each paper and all together 20 reprints of each paper free of charge.
The quality of the scientific manuscripts is assured by the editorial staff and a scientific editorial board (peer review; see also Author Guidelines for manuscript submission).
Tuexenia adheres to the Diamond Open Access model and after acceptance by the editors the articles are available online-first at www.tuexenia.de as soon as the editorial process is completed. There are no printing costs.
